Coronavirus is a death sentence for the incarcerated

Brothers and Sisters,

This is for my brothers and sisters incarcerated in prisons and jail houses across the United States. I don’t know about other places and prisons outside of Oklahoma, but I’ve experienced 29 years of my life in the Oklahoma Department of Corrections. Trust me and believe me when I say,  if you are in prison in Oklahoma and you have anything that is worse than a common cold or headache you are in extreme trouble. The facility is not equipped nor mentally prepared to handle such a vicious virus.  All I can do for my brothers and sisters incarcerated in jail houses and prisons across the United States is pray. This may sound trivial, but believe me the only power we have is to pray.  With prayer there is a chance, but without prayer and placing faith solely in the hands of the prison industrial complex to heal the sick, trust me we I say they do not stand a chance.

I’m going to be out here praying for those locked up, but let’s keep hope alive by praying.

Stay safe, be careful, we will make it.

Hat tip,

Geechie Dan
